Staying True to the Foundations of their Business

With increasing competition, limited resources and more demanding customers, knowledgeable business leaders are determined to focus on their customers. Achieving true customer centricity requires a significant, enterprise-wide shift in thinking and reorientation of your value proposition – and Broadview Networks does just this.

Broadview Networks came to life 2002 when Michael Orloff and his friend Tyson Choptain decided to combine their knowledge and experience in business administration and IT infrastructure. It was near the beginning of business development when they both realized that a sales professional would generate significant growth. The two became three when David Reimer, a sales genius in the IT industry, joined the team.

Today, the three young professionals combine their management, sales and technological expertise to project the company’s growth through annual strategic planning retreats. Broadview Networks takes pride in providing collaborative customized IT solutions that address their customer's unique business requirements.

As a Gold Certified Microsoft Partner, Dell Certified and VMware Enterprise Partner, they lead the way with providing leading edge solutions that enable organizations to be more streamlined and efficient. They strive to understand your business, address your needs, and position you for future growth and success.

Broadview provides customized technical solutions to IT and Business Professionals enabling them to access information with greater ease and operate more efficiently. They are committed to customer-centric relationships, superior project management, quality products and industry-leading technical knowhow. These are the foundations of their business.

To sustain strong customer relationships Broadview operates a Customer Service Tracker that uses a color-coded system to track customer satisfaction. The internal Customer Relationship Management system enables them to keep detailed records of their customers and their service history.

Broadview customers also have access to a secure Customer Portal which allows Broadview to stay open for business 24/7 around the world and delivers a high-quality, high-touch experience for customers while reducing the cost of customer care. The Broadview Customer Portal gives customers admittance to beneficial information, such as invoices, licenses and managed service reports resulting in an enhanced experience for the Broadview customer.

Whether your organization requires virtualization, systems management or a disaster recovery plan, Broadview will design and implement a solution that meets your specific needs. A complete solution from product to services will be scoped and delivered with the level of participation you desire. They will create an inclusive plan to ensure that your technology needs are not only met, but exceeded.

Just as customer relations are fundamental to the firm’s success, so are partner relations. Broadview works with partners they can have effective, long-term relationships with. The company has also grown by focusing on its core business.

Growth in employees, revenues and number of customers has been accompanied by technical achievements in the field. Broadview’s accomplishments include:

• Achieving the distinction of Fastest-Growing Canadian Company in 2009 and 2010 by Profit Magazine
• Selected as a 2010 Microsoft IMPACT Awards Finalist in three categories; Marketing Innovation, Ultimate VAR and Virtualization.
• Being named a “Fastest 50 Growing Manitoba Company” for 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010
• Receiving the “Best in Business Practice Awards 2008”
• Recognition as a Top 10 Microsoft Partner in Canada out of over 9,000 Partners
• Ranking on the 2010 Branham300 list which highlights the top Canadian and Multinational ICT companies operating in Canada

The company also invests their employees through positive employee communication and human resources. Every employee has access to comprehensive information on their company intranet. Making Broadview a good place to work is crucial in an industry where educated, experienced and knowledgeable workers are constantly on demand.

Broadview stays true to the foundations of their business: customer-centric relationships, superior project management, quality products and industry-leading technical knowhow. And by doing this - Broadview Networks depicts another Winnipeg based company who is already on the road to success.

Efficient Data Centre

Broadview Networks Can Help You Build the Efficient Data Centre

With the Broadview Networks and Dell Efficient Enterprise vision, technology infrastructures are open, capable and affordable. Products and services for the data center are flexible and avoid locking your organization into using a single vendor or proprietary technologies that contribute to increased TCO and limit future choice. The Broadview and Dell vision also blend new technology with existing infrastructure, existing expertise and industry-standard approaches designed to drive down TCO and complexity.

We begin with a three-step approach to help your organization unlock enterprise efficiency and achieve significant returns on your IT investment. The first step on the journey is to optimize the existing data center infrastructure, with the goal of achieving uniformity and cutting costs. The next step is to simplify the technology infrastructure. Using pragmatic approaches such as virtualization and storage consolidation, your organization can consolidate or unify redundancies to help ensure that you are getting the most out of their data center resources. Rationalizing and reducing the number of applications also enhances the flexibility to easily remove and repurpose servers. The third step is to implement best practices that help reduce manual intervention and boost productivity, together with cloud-based delivery models that help reduce administrative burdens on IT staff and enhance application availability.

Four Pillars to Build the Efficient Data Center

Intelligent Infrastructure
Deploys servers, networking and fabrics that are designed and purpose-built to help reduce acquisition and operating costs, with the goals of reducing the number and types of devices to manage, racking and cabling once.

Simplified infrastructure management

Includes technologies that enable IT staff to consolidate tools and pool resources, helping them to increase the operating efficiency of both new and existing infrastructures.

Streamlined application and workload management

Includes tools that allow rapid delivery of strategic IT services with the goals of enabling application developers to easily create images and self-provision their workload deployments, automating approval and deployment processes, and providing self-service cataloged services and chargebacks.

Dell Intelligent Data Management

Optimizes content storage through its life cycle by automatically placing it on the appropriate tier and storage type while optimizing storage for virtualized environments.
